First of all open your 8 Ball Pool game and go to Friends Icon near Gifts icon
As shown in Image given Below
 

Now here go to Bottom right Add as Unique ID and click on it 
As shown in given Image below

You can Put your Friends name here or Put his Unique ID here and search and Add Friend easily from here but the best way is to add by using Unique ID because as you can see when I used my name then so many same name players came to my List so best way is to use your Friends Unique ID while adding in 8 Ball Pool.
